Shannon is a nurturing Postpartum Doula based in the South East suburbs of Victoria. Her love for mother-led care started in 2020 when she cared for one of her closest friends who had just given birth. Dropping meals at her friend's door on a weekly basis, never asking to “hold the baby” but rather “holding the Mother” as she helped out with loving touch, light housework and a present, listening ear, her friend inspired her to become a Doula.
Shannon’s Postpartum Care focuses on food as medicine, with meal packages that are organic and inspired by Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurveda. After completing two years of study in Health Science majoring in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Shannon believes wholeheartedly in the healing energy of food, especially during huge life transitions such as birth and postpartum.
Alongside nourishing meals, Shannon also offers mother-led Postpartum Care, with each session tailored to the Mother’s needs. Rituals and care that you can expect from each session are light cleaning, meal prepping / batch cooking in your home, herbal sitz bath, foot soaks and / or vaginal steaming, baby wearing so you can nap / shower / bath (or whatever you’re craving), belly binding and more.
When she’s not caring for mothers, Shannon loves to be in nature, camping, hiking or swimming with her loving husband Sam and her Kelpie, Furphy.
A deep lover of plant medicine, Shannon has created two complimentary product ranges that are intended to nurture the emotional and spiritual landscapes of her clients. She first launched her Ceremonial Grade Cacao range in 2020 and has since refined its branding and packaging immensely, resulting in partnering with many stockists around Australia and NZ, including Go Vita, WholeLife and Flannerys.
Her newly released product range, Flower Powers is a tribute to Shannon’s love for nature, foraging and herbal medicine. This range has been carefully curated and intentionally blended with Australian Bush Flower Essences after many years of study and research. These blends are intended to be used within and alongside Nourish Hub’s Ceremonial Grade Cacao or on their own as a beautiful emotional and spiritual support tool.

So, that’s where Shannon is now but it all began back in February 2019, in her tiny apartment living room in Mordialloc Victoria. Shannon never knew what Nourish Hub would evolve into but she had a deep, unshakeable desire to provide spaces whereby women could connect to their intuition more deeply, as well as each other. Nourish Hub started as a place for women to gather in circle, monthly. These humble beginnings are still a core component of what Shannon offers through Nourish Hub, as she continues to hold regular women’s circles / cacao ceremonies (and never plans to stop!).
She is a powerful and intuitive space holder who has a skill for connecting like-minded people and creating inspiring, sacred spaces through these regular ceremonies, her seasonal retreats, and her private cacao ceremonies.
